About the Artist
✨ Hi, I’m Lucy,
I believe having self-awareness, caring deeply about what you do, and holding yourself to meaningful standards elevates not only your own life, but the world around you.
That belief sits at the centre of my work.
I always wanted a life that felt aligned. One where my growth, values, and standards were reflected in how I live every day, without compromise.
What kept me from that life was the quiet conditioning that make myself smaller, to temper my ambition, to lower my standards, and to remain invisible in order to fit in.
It took me nearly three decades to realise that the solution wasn’t self-suppression, but cultivating self-awareness, doing the inner work, and reclaiming my standards, ambition, and authentic voice.
Art became the place where that reclamation could be practised - deliberately, visibly, and with utmost care.
🎨 The Work
I primarily work in oil and charcoal, with a practice grounded in disciplined attention, classical technique, and a deep regard for refinement. My process is slow and deliberate, guided by meaning rather than trends.
I’m not interested in provocation, spectacles, or shortcuts. I’m interested in what happens when wisdom is cultivated, effort is honest, standards are upheld, and care is allowed to be seen.
Over time, my life began to reflect the same qualities I put into my work: depth, alignment, and clarity.
My work is created for the refined nonconformist, those who:
value self-awareness, depth, and integrity,
resist the pull of the superficial
understand that how we do things matter
want their surroundings to reflect their inner world rather than distract from it.
My work invites collectors to build homes that feel aligned and alive.
If that resonates, you’re welcome to explore my available original works and limited edition prints right here on my website, follow my daily studio updates on Instagram, or check out my YouTube channel on art history.
